They are believed to be the first duo in Southeast Asia to do so.
It was a true heroes' welcome home for Goh Mia Chun and his wife Samantha.
Mia Chun said: "Seeing my father, my friends, it is like a dream..."
Friends and family felt the same.
Joanne Goh, Mia Chun's sister, said: "I am very happy for him to be able to complete this trip and of course, other than his fulfilling his dream...to me, it is him arriving back home safely."
The couple spent two-and-a-half years crossing the continents of Asia, Europe, the Americas and Oceania.
Being away clearly affected Mia Chun. He told his family and friends: "My tears are tears of joy to see all of you. Thank you all."
It also dispelled the uninviting image of some countries.
Mia Chun said: "We went to a village in Pakistan, it is near the Kashmir area, and the battery suddenly broke down. So I was so scared, but everybody just come around to help us. People there are just like us, they are very sincere, very helpful."
The motorcycle the couple rode on was actually a replacement for the original one the couple had planned to use. The original motorcycle was stolen even before the trip began.
Mia Chun said: "We were quite hopeless, because the name of the bike was called Hope. Our first intention for this round-the-world trip was to let everybody in the world to see hope. So, what to do when there is no hope? So we went to look for Hope Too...so this guy here is Hope Too."
The couple has posted videos of the trip on their blog, in the hope that others will also be inspired.

During the two weeks term break I went on a holiday to Perhentian Island in Terengganu, Malaysia and i decided to talk about it on my blog. These may not be the most current issue but I think it is important to save our planet earth.I went to quite a number of beach holidays but none of the experience came close to the one I had had at this Island.

Perhentian island lays abot 10 nautical mile that is about 19 km offshore the coast of northeastern Malaysia and it is also 64 km south of Thailand border. Perhentian islands has been declared as marine park by the Malaysian goverment.Perhentian Island is fringed by white sand beaches, and the reef and crystalline are host to wide variety of corals, sea-turtles, jellyfish, small sharks and reef fishes. These island is covered with jungle and few interior foot path ideal for jungle trekking.

What is a Marine park? Well marine park are places where only activities that have minimal damage to the enviroment can be carried out there. Therefore it means no fishing, no jet ski. Activities carried out there includes jungle trekking, island hopping, snorkeling, diving, shark watching and turtle watching. Perhentian Island is also turtle conservation centre where about 300 turtles come to nest every year. However this has declined over the years as there is oil spills by oil production platform and oil tankers owned by Petronas not far away from Perhentian Island.

No matter how much te goverment tries without the cooperation of all parties the nature cannot be saved. Therefore everyone should be aware to the changes in the enviroment help protect the enviroment for our future genaration.

Family

Family are part of us all no matter where we are are or how old we are. They are our basic building blocks in our lifes. They either break us or make us. A lot families nowadays do not spend enough time together this eventually breaks the closely knited bond a family should have. I think it is important for family to build their relationship with each other. A good relationship with family members will help us build our confidence, make us happier, and give a lot of positive energy to face the world outside. Just imagine yourself coming back home to an unloving and unsupportive family, thats not something we look forward to. That is why a lot of teenagers turn to friends for attention. This leads to a lot more problems like teens running away from home, teen pregnancy, getting involved in gang and so on, to prevent all this family plays a major role. I believe a good family background will keep teenagers out of trouble even if they do get into bad company the parents wil be able to identify the problem and correct it. This may not be a very current issue but I still think it's a issue that need to be address.
